Chapter One
Do you remember the story of the Three Little Pigs? How the Big Bad Wolfe tried to
catch them by dropping down the chimney but fell right into a pot of boiling water?
Some folks say that was the end of Big Bad. But this is what really happened.
Big Bad hit that hot water and jumped out so hard he smashed his head, fell on the
floor, and caught his tail on fire. Then he ran out of the pigs’ house with eyes bulging,
bruised paws waving in the air, and screaming in pain.
The townspeople, hearing all the noise, came out and yelled “Good riddance,” as Big
Bad’s tail left a smoky trail behind him.
Since that day, no one in town saw Big Bad Wolfe ever again. After that embarrassing
scene, he wasn’t about to show his face! Big Bad was still big, but not so bad any more.
Now, here is something not too many people know.
